So this 2 mile run was wretched. My legs felt like lead and I stupidly stepped in sloshy muddy grass at the park at the international school before we really got started, so there was an unfortunate amount of “squishing” that happened with every step. The sun found its way out - if only for a little while - and while pup and I enjoyed every minute of Vitamin D we were exposed to, the lead-like legs definitely sucked. Advil for dinner. Hopefully the next run will be better.
*includes a little off-leash pup time and 2 stops to pick up pup poo.
Here’s a question - I’m starting to run more on the balls of my feet as opposed to heel toe. It certainly is easier running downhill on the balls of my feet, but is that good or bad?
