Among other things, tonight I’m beheading shrimp! Why, you ask? Because today is the first day of the fresh shrimp season (apparently), there was a fresh fish market right by the tulip festival I hit up today, it was a buck cheaper per pound to behead them myself and my mama says you can’t freeze them with their heads on. Not sure there’s logic behind it, but i will say that fresh dead shrimp eyeballs are probably easier to look at than freezer burned dead shrimp eyeballs. Just saying. I am oh so looking forward to shrimp night!
